High Performance Computing at the National Genom Center

High Performance Computing (HPC)

As a user of the microdata schemes, you can choose between placing your projects on Statistics Denmark's Research Machine, establishing your own hosted server at Statistics Denmark, or running the projects on a high-performance computing facility (HPC).

Currently, Statistics Denmark can offer you to use the National Genome Center (NGC) as an HPC facility, provided that you are working on health projects. At the same time, we collaborate with DeiC to also provide access to university HPC facilities, which will grant access to projects outside of health as well.

About connection at the National Genome Center (NGC)

An advantage of the NGC infrastructure is that you get your own machine. You rent the hardware on a monthly basis and pay for setup as well as an annual maintenance and operating cost per machine you rent. Additionally, you pay an annual customer fee covering development costs. The customer fee is calculated per institution regardless of how many machines you have.

We will continuously update this website so that guides and prices are available.
